A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury and medical malpractice cases, with a proven ability to represent clients in trial settings. This full-time, in-office position offers the flexibility of a flexible schedule and the opportunity to manage a dynamic and varied caseload.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury, workers' compensation, and medical malpractice cases.
  • Conduct trial preparation, including research, discovery, and developing case strategies.
  • Appear in court to advocate on behalf of clients, conducting hearings, motions, and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements and work to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.
  • Maintain thorough case documentation and ensure compliance with legal deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to manage caseload efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.
  • Proven experience with trial work and courtroom appearances.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable client outcomes.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • An active Maryland Bar license is required.

Skills:

  • Extensive experience in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.
  • Strong litigation, research, and legal writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
