A well-established Tampa-based law firm is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its team, focusing on complex matters involving insurance-related claims, construction disputes, and government liability cases. Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, particularly premises liability claims

• Assist with and lead aspects of construction litigation and government entity cases

• Draft, review, and analyze pleadings, motions, and discovery materials

• Participate in and conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

• Develop and implement legal strategies in collaboration with lead partners

• Maintain regular communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

• Uphold high standards of written and oral advocacy

• Utilize litigation management software and electronic billing tools efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation

• Prior exposure to construction law and government liability litigation preferred

• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting capabilities

• Demonstrated ability to handle matters independently with minimal supervision

• Technological proficiency in legal and general productivity tools

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida

• Good standing with The Florida Bar

Skills:

• Persuasive written and verbal communication

• Time management and prioritization in a deadline-driven environment
