Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in handling medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and personal injury cases. This role offers opportunities for deposition and trial experience.

Duties

  • Handle intake calls and manage client communications.
  • Maintain and update case lists and case management software.
  • Draft correspondence and legal documents.
  • Obtain, organize, and maintain medical records.
  • Draft and outline pleadings and discovery documents.
  • Perform electronic filing of legal documents.
  • Assist with miscellaneous day-to-day firm operations.
  • Summarize medical records for case preparation.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of relevant legal experience.
  • Ability to type at least 80 words per minute.

 

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

 

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

 

Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in case management software.
