Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate must hold an active Florida Bar License and will be responsible for handling a variety of litigation matters. The firm offers a competitive benefits package.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in litigation.
• Assist senior attorneys in case strategy development and implementation.
• Manage caseload independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures.
• Work diligently to achieve favorable outcomes for clients and resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Florida Bar License (Required).
• 3-5 years of experience practicing litigation.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of litigation matters effectively.
