Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Transactional Associate with over five years of experience to join their Real Estate & Commercial Development Practice Group in Charlotte, North Carolina or Atlanta, Georgia. The candidate should have expertise in commercial real estate acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and disposition, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements. A license in North Carolina or Georgia is required, along with strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate complex purchase and sale agreements.
  • Handle easement agreements and declarations of restrictive covenants.
  • Negotiate loan documents for construction and permanent financing.
  • Collaborate with a team to provide comprehensive legal services.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial real estate experience.
  • Licensed to practice in North Carolina or Georgia.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a sophisticated law firm practice preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in North Carolina or Georgia.
