Job Overview: A law firm in Orlando, FL, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced attorney to join their Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions practice area as a Partner. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and growing the firm's business, providing expert legal advice, and contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions practice area, overseeing a team of attorneys and support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the firm's client base and enhance its market presence in the M&A sector.
  • Provide high-level legal advice and guidance on complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures.
  • Negotiate and draft a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission.
  • Experience practicing law, with a focus on Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a legal team.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to attract and retain clients.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the American Bar Association (ABA) or other relevant professional organizations is preferred.
