Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Patent Agent/Advisor with expertise in software and artificial intelligence to join its patent counseling and prosecution practice in Boston. Duties

  • Conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses.
  • Analyze patent and scientific documents to assist attorneys in prosecution, counseling, and litigation.
  • Draft patent applications and responses to office actions.
  • Advise lawyers on technology issues in preparation for depositions.

Requirements

  • Superb technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning is strongly preferred.
  • Initiative, fast learning ability, and teamwork skills.
  • Eligibility to sit for the USPTO registration exam.
