Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Construction Associate in Energy and Natural Resources for its Austin office. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic and nationally recognized practice group, focusing on engineering and construction aspects of transition and renewable energy project development.

Duties

  • Support engineering and construction aspects of energy project development.
  • Draft and analyze construction contracts, including EPC, EPCM, and equipment supply agreements.
  • Manage project teams and ensure effective collaboration.
  • Provide excellent client service and substantive work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in energy projects, including renewable and transition energy.
  • Transactional experience with construction contracts.
  • Strong drafting and contract analysis skills.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize new information.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of Texas.
