Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Energy and Climate Solutions Associate in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of transactional experience in energy M&A, project finance, and/or commercial transactions, with a focus on renewable energy.

Duties

• Serve as senior associate on substantial transactional matters.
• Exercise independent judgment and draft creative agreements.
• Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers for mentoring.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of transactional experience in a major law firm.
• Experience with utility scale and distributed asset classes preferred.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
