A law firm seeks a Joint-Venture Equity Associate with over five years of real estate experience to join their Global Finance group in Washington. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of joint ventures, acquisitions, and borrower-side financing, along with strong drafting skills.

Duties

  • Advise investors and private fund sponsors on real estate investments and financing.
  • Represent institutional asset managers in acquisitions, joint ventures, and dispositions.
  • Draft and negotiate complex real estate agreements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of real estate experience, including joint ventures and financing.
  • Experience in commercial real estate investments and related transactions.
  • Large law firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Team-driven attitude and strong drafting skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving mindset.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
