Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel for its Seattle, WA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment and labor law, providing strategic legal solutions to employers.

Duties

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.
  • Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
  • Handle employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, and wage-and-hour cases.
  • Class Action experience preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • 10+ years of experience in employment litigation with significant first-chair experience.
  • Current Washington bar admission in good standing.
  • Supervisory experience over associate and paralegal work.
  • In-depth understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Washington State Bar.
