Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Employment Immigration Attorney in Atlanta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry experts on a variety of case types with excellent support staff, providing a platform for growth and development.

Duties

  • Prepare employment immigration cases such as H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, I-140, PERM, and NIW, along with some naturalization and family immigration cases.
  • Independently manage a high-volume caseload proactively.
  • Monitor deadlines and expiration dates, adhering to office procedures and management directions.
  • Attend US CIS interviews and conduct interview preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on US immigration law changes.
  • Handle client communications and government correspondence promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with a team to ensure high-quality legal representation for clients.
  • Take on special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in employment immigration.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
  • Professional, courteous, and positive attitude.
  • Quick learner with impeccable ethics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • This is an on-site position, Monday-Friday.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
