Personal Injury Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Columbia, SC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Complex Personal Injury Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess Bar admission and have significant experience in handling complex personal injury cases. This role involves managing high-stakes litigation, providing strategic legal advice, and representing clients in personal injury matters. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to the firm's reputation for handling intricate and high-profile cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex personal injury cases, including cases involving significant damages, catastrophic injuries, and complex liability issues.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court trials.
• Develop and execute case strategies, including identifying and presenting evidence and expert testimony.
• Advise clients on legal rights, potential outcomes, and settlement options.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of case preparation and litigation, ensuring timely and effective progress.
• Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other legal professionals to build strong case arguments.
• Stay current on relevant legal developments, case law, and industry trends affecting personal injury litigation.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and client advocacy throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in South Carolina.
• Significant experience in personal injury litigation, with a strong track record of managing complex cases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage a demanding caseload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
