Duties:

• Represent clients in various disability rights matters, focusing on issues of equal access and discrimination.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on complex issues of disability law.
• Oversee all aspects of discovery, such as drafting requests and responses, and managing depositions.
• Advocate for clients in court hearings and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in developing case strategy and litigation plans.
• Handle a high volume of cases while ensuring the highest quality of legal work and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong dedication to disability rights and social justice causes.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex legal concepts.
• Proven multitasking abilities in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Adaptability and quick learning capabilities to meet new challenges.
• Law Review or Judicial Clerkship experience is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in federal litigation, especially in disability law, is an asset.
