A top-performing Texas law firm is seeking a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Corpus Christi office. This role offers a competitive base salary, a 10% commission on collected legal fees, and a $15,000 first-year retention bonus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a docket of personal injury cases—from intake through trial—while managing staff and driving successful case outcomes.

Location

Duties

  • Draft and file legal pleadings, including petitions and motions

  • Conduct discovery and handle depositions

  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Manage a personal injury docket, including motor vehicle and premises liability cases

  • Supervise dedicated legal support staff

  • Coordinate litigation strategy and settlement negotiations

  • Ensure timely and ethical case resolution and client communication

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing personal injury litigation cases

  • Courtroom and deposition experience required

  • Ability to manage a high-volume docket with efficiency and attention to detail

  • Strong commitment to client advocacy and results-driven litigation

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing

Skills
