Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its Garden City. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in various civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate should possess strong research, writing, and organizational skills, coupled with a robust academic background. Bar admission or pending admission is a prerequisite. Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Assist with case management and strategy development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of New York or pending admission.
• 0-3 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong academic record with emphasis on litigation-related coursework.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar or pending admission.
