Job Overview:
A respected personal injury law firm in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a motivated and client-focused Associate Attorney to join its legal team. This role provides immediate responsibility over a caseload of pre-litigation matters, supported by a dedicated staff and extensive firm resources. The attorney will handle a variety of pre-suit functions, including negotiations, case management, and client communications, with the opportunity for professional growth and mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.

Location:

  • Atlanta, Georgia

Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of pre-litigation personal injury cases

  • Draft and file demand letters, legal memoranda, and related pre-suit documents

  • Guide clients through the legal process with professionalism and compassion

  • Oversee settlement negotiations and formation of demand packages

  • Coordinate the release and approval process post-settlement

  • Supervise case managers and support staff

  • Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with internal KPIs

  • Assist with property damage claims and examinations under oath (EUOs)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills

  • Excellent organizational and client service abilities

  • Commitment to team collaboration and client advocacy

  • Self-motivated with long-term career goals in litigation or trial work

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal drafting and case evaluation

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail

  • Familiarity with case management systems and legal workflows

  • Superior negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
