Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in San Diego is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney with 5-7 years of commercial litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record of advocacy. Excellent academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and admission to practice law in California are required.

Job Details:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Manage discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
• Work collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff
• Maintain case files and ensure deadlines are met

Experience:

5-7 years of commercial litigation experience

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized law school
• Admission to practice law in California
