Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Coverage Litigation to join their team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This full-time, in-person role offers immediate hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals in the field.

Duties

• Handle complex insurance coverage disputes and related litigation in state and federal courts.
• Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings and discovery, and assist with mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on legal strategy, client communication, and case development.
• Gain exposure to sophisticated matters involving asbestos, environmental claims, and other high-stakes issues.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience focused on insurance coverage litigation.
• Admitted to practice in New York.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Commitment to teamwork, initiative, and excellence in client service.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in New York.
