A law firm is seeking a Cyber, Privacy, And Data Associate Attorney to join their team in Boston, MA. This position will be pivotal in advising and representing clients on all cybersecurity and incident response matters. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated, dynamic, and creative individual with outstanding interpersonal skills and, above all, a team player.

Job Overview:

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on cybersecurity and incident response matters.
  • Assist clients in navigating data protection regulations and cybersecurity threats.

Duties:

  • Advise and represent clients on cybersecurity and incident response issues.
  • Research and analyze legal issues related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, policies, and compliance documents.
  • Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions on behalf of clients.
  • Stay current with developments in cybersecurity laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and team members on client matters.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.
  • Membership to the MA State Bar.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent legal research skills.
  • Superb writing and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in cybersecurity and incident response.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership to the MA State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research skills.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
