Duties

  • Manage all aspects of a case from intake through settlement, including appearances in Surrogate's Court and Supreme Court.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Conduct depositions and participate in virtual and in-person court appearances.
  • Engage extensively with clients to provide legal guidance and support.
  • Assist with settlement negotiations and trial preparations.
  • Collaborate with associates and partners on significant legal matters.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice law in New York.
  • 1-3+ years of legal experience; recent graduates admitted in December 2024 are welcome.
  • Experience in personal injury law and client management is advantageous.
  • Strong writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Valid New York Bar license.
