Mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding academic credentials, and strong research, writing, and analytical skills. They should be capable of working effectively in a team environment and be prepared to assume significant responsibility in the firm's cases. The role will involve supporting commercial litigation activities across various areas such as franchise, intellectual property rights, real estate, and general commercial litigation. Participation in marketing and business development activities, including client pitches and presentations, is expected. Prior law firm experience and bilingual capabilities are preferred. The candidate must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Duties:

• Provide legal support and representation in commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist in case management and strategy development.
• Participate in all stages of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and appeals.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to effectively handle cases.
• Engage in marketing and business development activities, including client meetings and presentations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Prior law firm experience is preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities are preferred.
• Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
