Duties

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters related to debt collection
  • Manage a high-volume caseload across Oregon courts
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and advise clients on litigation risks and strategies
  • Collaborate with legal team members and staff to resolve cases efficiently
  • Participate in remote hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable court rules and professional standards

Requirements

  • 2 years of civil litigation experience
  • Active license to practice law in TX
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a large caseload
  • Familiarity with debtor-creditor law is preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the TX State Bar
  • Admission in additional states is a plus
