Job Overview:
A rapidly expanding personal injury law firm in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This full-time role offers an opportunity to represent injured clients, lead negotiations, and contribute to a community-focused legal practice in a high-performance environment. Location:

  • Yuma, AZ

Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, managing claims from intake through settlement or litigation

  • Lead settlement negotiations and mediate disputes

  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and settlement demands

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders

  • Collaborate with legal team members to ensure client-centered representation

  • Participate in community engagement and firm-sponsored outreach efforts

  • Contribute to firm growth through leadership and mentorship opportunities

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Arizona State Bar or pending Character & Fitness approval

  • Experience in plaintiff personal injury law preferred but not required

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Commitment to client advocacy and ethical representation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Arizona or pending final bar admission approval

Skills:
