Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Fayetteville, AR, is actively seeking a seasoned litigation attorney with significant experience handling high-volume personal injury and civil litigation cases, particularly in premises liability. This role involves direct involvement in trial advocacy, litigation strategy, and client engagement from case inception to resolution. Ideal candidates are highly skilled in courtroom presentation, trial preparation, and case management and are looking to make meaningful contributions in a fast-paced and client-focused legal practice.

Duties:

  • Manage a dynamic caseload of ~150 matters, with ~50 in active litigation at any given time

  • Serve as lead on jury trials, ensuring strategic advocacy and trial readiness

  • Conduct depositions, mediation, and oral arguments with confidence and precision

  • Draft and respond to motions and discovery efficiently

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive litigation strategies

  • Maintain ongoing, proactive communication with clients to ensure their understanding and confidence throughout the legal process

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation or personal injury law (5-8 years preferred)

  • Strong litigation background on either the plaintiff or defense side (plaintiff-side preferred)

  • Demonstrated record of first-chair jury trials, with at least 5 completed; 10+ preferred

  • Admitted and in good standing with a U.S. State Bar (multiple Bar admissions a plus)

  • Deep understanding of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

  • Confidence in courtroom settings and willingness to try cases regularly

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar license(s) in good standing

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Strong legal analysis and case evaluation ability

  • Highly organized with attention to detail in case strategy and documentation

  • Ability to manage high workloads with support from legal staff

  • Adept at leveraging legal technology and case management tools
