Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4 to 6 years of experience in appellate practice and trial support. This position is ideal for a legal professional with strong legal writing skills and courtroom experience, including appellate oral arguments and trial motion practice. The attorney will work closely with litigation teams on high-stakes matters, providing strategic support before, during, and after trial. Location:

Duties:

  • Draft appellate briefs, legal motions, and trial support memoranda

  • Present oral arguments before appellate courts

  • Argue dispositive motions in trial courts

  • Participate in charge conferences and preserve trial records for appellate review

  • Conduct legal research and contribute to litigation strategy

  • Collaborate with trial attorneys on high-level litigation matters

Requirements:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in appellate and trial support work

  • Demonstrated courtroom experience, including appellate arguments and trial-level motion practice

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex assignments and deadlines

  • Judicial clerkship experience preferred

  • Strong collaboration skills and capacity to work independently

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Excellent academic credentials required

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:
