Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Senior Attorney to join its Consumer Financial Services Litigation and Enforcement practice in Washington, D.C. This role involves advising clients on federal and state regulatory compliance, responding to regulator inquiries, and supporting clients in navigating legal requirements across consumer financial products and services.

Duties

  • Advise financial services clients on regulatory compliance issues.
  • Respond to regulator inquiries and investigations.
  • Support clients in navigating legal requirements for consumer financial products.
  • Engage in litigation and enforcement actions as needed.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Prior government experience preferred (e.g., CFPB, OCC, FTC, DOJ, or state AGs).
  • Experience with regulatory exams, enforcement actions, or complex litigation.
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills.
  • Familiarity with consumer finance regulatory framework.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in good standing.
