A law firm is seeking a 1st Party Property Damage Attorney to join their team in Orlando, FL. The candidate will provide clients with updates and communicate with insurance companies regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. They will attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations, utilizing superb negotiation skills and excellent verbal and written communication.

 

Duties:

  • Provide clients with updates on claim status
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers
  • Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations
  • Evaluate claims and develop strategies
  • Utilize superb negotiation skills
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of litigation experience
  • Member of the Florida Bar in good standing
  • Experience in evaluating claims (First Party Property Damage experience is a plus)

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree

 

Certifications:

Member of the Florida Bar in good standing

 

Skills:

  • Superb negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
