Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate to join the Securities and Capital Markets Group in Chicago, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative team on a diverse range of multidisciplinary practices, engaging closely with shareholders and participating in business development and client-facing activities.

Duties

• Collaborate on debt and equity offerings and M&A transactions.
• Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements.
• Engage in client-facing activities and business development.
• Work closely with shareholders and team members.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate, securities, capital markets, and M&A at an AM Law 100 firm.
• Strong transactional skills and experience with securitizations and aviation clients preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education

• J.D. degree with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Admitted and in good standing in Illinois, New York, DC, or Florida.
