Trust and Estates Associate Attorney

A law firm in Fargo, ND is seeking a Trust and Estates Associate Attorney with a background in finance, accounting, or business and excellent interpersonal skills. The Trust and Estates Associate Attorney will contribute to the firm's estate planning practice, utilizing their background in finance, accounting, or business. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, a solid academic background, and professional credentials. The candidate should possess a J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School and hold an active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. This opportunity is open to individuals with 0-2 years of experience and/or a strong interest in estate planning.

Duties:

• Assist clients in estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and probate.
• Provide legal counsel on matters related to trusts, estates, and wealth preservation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support estate planning strategies.
• Draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Collaborate with clients and other professionals, including financial advisors and accountants.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting trusts and estates.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.
• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Background in finance, accounting, or business.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong academic background and professional credentials.
• 0-2 years of experience and/or interest in estate planning.
