Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Technology Transactions Associate specializing in biotechnology to join their New York, NY office. The successful candidate will engage with innovative life sciences companies and participate in dynamic transactions, working closely with a collaborative team of attorneys.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate collaboration, licensing, supply, and complex commercial agreements.
  • Advise clients on sophisticated, mission-critical agreements with practical solutions.
  • Support and lead strategic and M&A transactions.
  • Mentor, supervise, and train junior attorneys.
  • Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of transactional and licensing experience in life sciences at a top law firm.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client counseling skills.
  • Experience with M&A transactions and complex agreements.
  • Familiarity with the life sciences industry and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • J.D./Admitted in local jurisdiction.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in New York.
