A growing national law firm is seeking an Appellate Associate Attorney to join its McAllen, TX office. Location:

Duties:

• Assist in handling appellate matters across multiple jurisdictions

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft appellate briefs and memoranda

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication

• Participate in mentorship and training programs designed to advance appellate expertise

• Contribute to a team-focused, respectful, and diverse work culture

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, preferably in appellate or general liability work

• Demonstrated job stability and strong professional references

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines effectively

• Commitment to learning and growing within appellate practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities

• Clear and persuasive written and oral communication

• Critical thinking and strategic problem-solving

• Eagerness to develop niche appellate practice skills
