Duties:

• Brief complex issues of first impression and provide innovative legal solutions.
• Conduct advanced legal research to support case strategy and arguments.
• Manage general litigation matters, including court appearances, case management, and the negotiation/drafting of settlements.
• Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
• Develop and execute strategies for client representation.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to achieve case objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal precedents and changes in the law.
• Represent clients effectively in court and during negotiations.

Requirements:

• 1-6 years of litigation experience, with significant court experience.
• Strong intellectual creativity and ability to navigate issues of first impression.
• Excellent academic record from a top law school.
• Superior writing and research skills.
• Clerkship experience preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in Washington, DC, or eligibility for admission.
