A law firm seeks a skilled Personal Injury Lawyer in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals. Duties

• Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, and case managers.
• Research case law and premises liability; gather relevant evidence such as insurance policies and medical records.
• Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system.
• Review, modify, and draft various legal documents including motions, discovery responses, and demand letters.
• Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.

Requirements

• Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred.
• Understanding of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, and related fields is desired.
• Proficiency in computers is vital.
• Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory.
