Litigation Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Work collaboratively as part of a team, within the firm, and with clients, co-counsel, and experts.
• Act with integrity in all legal proceedings.
• Prepare thoroughly for trial, if necessary, and identify key themes and facts.
• Simplify complex concepts for easy understanding.
• Utilize technology to review, organize, and present facts and information effectively.
• Research legal issues, draft memos, briefs, and pleadings.
• Assist with discovery in litigation matters.
• Attend client meetings, take depositions, and appear in court.
• Optional involvement in other business and intellectual property law practice areas.

Requirements:

• Graduation from a top law school and/or with honors.
• 2+ years (3+ years preferred) of litigation experience at a top-tier law firm.
• Admission to the Michigan Bar or ability to obtain reciprocal admission.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
