Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to handle civil litigation matters from initial intake to verdict. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and 3-5 years of trial experience. While construction defect and/or personal injury experience is preferred, Public Defenders and District Attorneys are encouraged to apply. The candidate will be responsible for handling cases, taking/defending depositions, drafting and responding to substantive motions and discovery, attending hearings, and meeting with clients.

Duties:

• Handle civil litigation matters from initial intake to verdict.
• Take/defend depositions.
• Draft and respond to substantive motions and discovery.
• Attend hearings.
• Meet with clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state Bar of Colorado.
• 3-5 years of trial experience.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Construction defect and/or personal injury experience preferred.
• Public Defenders and District Attorneys encouraged to apply.

Education:
