A law firm in Boone, NC, seeks a dedicated Family Law Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with experience in family law who is comfortable managing a high volume of cases and providing exceptional client service. The Associate Attorney will engage in various legal activities, including court appearances, mediations, and client consultations, ensuring comprehensive legal support from the inception to the conclusion of each case.

Duties:

  • Start daily by checking emails, returning messages, and coordinating with assigned case managers.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and legal proceedings.
  • Conduct new client consultations and ongoing meetings with current clients to ensure top-quality customer service.
  • Perform detailed case reviews and legal research to prepare cases for court effectively.
  • Participate in and contribute to PAG team training sessions.
  • Communicate regularly with clients through multiple channels, including in-person, phone, virtual platforms, and written correspondence.
  • Manage and navigate all aspects of family law cases from start to finish, ensuring the ultimate client experience.
  • Remain proactive in handling a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.
  • Some experience in family law.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and cases with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in legal research and the use of legal database software.
  • Commitment to professional development and participation in team training.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.

Skills:
