A boutique education-focused law firm in Culver City is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of experience in special education, civil rights, disability law, or personal injury litigation. Duties

  • Handle special education matters, including client intake, case evaluation, IEP meeting representation, mediation, and due process hearings

  • Represent clients in civil litigation in both state and federal courts

  • Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, and participate in mediations and trials

  • Provide clear legal advice to clients and families navigating educational or disability-related disputes

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of legal experience in at least one of the following: special education law, civil rights, disability law, or personal injury

  • Admission to the State Bar of California

  • Knowledge of relevant laws including IDEA, ADA, Section 504, and public entity liability

  • Ability to manage multiple cases with sensitivity and attention to detail

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the California Bar
