eDiscovery Attorney

Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a skilled eDiscovery Attorney to join its Litigation and Information Management practice group. This full-time, non-partnership track position involves working on complex litigation matters through the full spectrum of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of handling multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced legal environment. The position supports a hybrid work schedule and is open to candidates located in cities where the firm maintains offices.

Location:

• Boston, MA

Duties:

• Manage eDiscovery responsibilities in high-stakes, complex litigation matters

• Coordinate project execution to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

• Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, ESI orders, and protective agreements

• Serve as the main point of contact with legal teams, clients, and vendors regarding eDiscovery execution and updates

• Oversee the identification, collection, and processing of client data

• Prepare budgets and cost estimates for review projects; manage monthly revenue forecasts and invoices

• Design and manage document review workflows, including quality control procedures

• Supervise document review teams and ensure the accuracy of productions

• Provide training and guidance to review attorneys to maintain high-quality standards

• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in eDiscovery (law firm, in-house, or government)

• Experience across the full EDRM lifecycle

• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and deadlines concurrently

• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and discovery obligations

• Bar admission in the jurisdiction where the attorney will practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Bar in a U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical capabilities

• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills

• Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities
