Job Overview

Seeking a highly skilled Family Law Attorney to join a reputable law firm in Indianapolis, IN, focused on providing compassionate legal services in family law. This position offers an opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment, dedicated to advocating for clients through challenging times.

Location

  • Indianapolis, IN

Duties

  • Manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, legal contracts, and settlement proposals.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
  • Assist clients in resolving legal conflicts, including divorce, child custody, CHINS/DCS cases, protective orders, and marital asset division.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys to ensure the timely progression of cases.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client files.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in Indiana, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience handling a variety of family law cases.
  • Proven record of success in client advocacy and case outcomes.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Indiana.

Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and working under pressure in high-stress situations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
