Duties

• Oversee the firm's demand negotiations team.
• Develop and implement demand writing standards.

• Create training programs for junior professionals.
• Handle high-value cases, prioritizing client advocacy.
• Ensure quality control of outgoing demands.
• Manage and negotiate settlements with insurers.
• Innovate demand tactics based on carrier psychology.
• Implement AI-assisted demand drafting tools.
• Oversee case management with accounting.
• Conduct intake meetings with serious injury clients.
• Communicate regularly with clients for updates.
• Collaborate with litigation team for trial preparation.
• Conduct audits of pre-litigation cases.
• Collaborate on case strategies and medical management.
• Travel as needed.

Requirements

• Active CA State Bar License in good standing.
• 8+ years of personal injury experience, 3+ in demands/negotiations.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Problem-solving ability and multitasking skills.
• Coaching and training proficiency.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Mastery of medical damage quantification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
