Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A respected law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2–4 years of experience. This role is well-suited for an attorney who is comfortable handling a dynamic caseload and has hands-on experience in litigation processes such as depositions, hearings, and court appearances. Experience in insurance or personal injury matters is preferred but not mandatory.

Location:

• Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and provide analysis to support litigation efforts

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings

• Manage multiple active cases with attention to deadlines and detail

• Collaborate with partners on complex litigation strategy and case planning

• Engage with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other legal professionals

• Participate in case strategy discussions and litigation planning

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting

• Prior experience in insurance or personal injury law is preferred, not required

• Licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Strong legal judgment and problem-solving abilities

• Comfortable handling multiple matters and adjusting to shifting priorities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications:

• Admission to the Nevada State Bar
