Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Chicago is looking to hire an Associate Attorney with a passion for high-profile litigation. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of litigation experience, including trial and appellate work, and be comfortable working with government entities and law enforcement. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to complex cases involving constitutional law and government work.

Duties:

  • Handle and assist in managing complex, high-exposure litigation cases at both the trial and appellate levels.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, including public entities and government officials, to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and other written materials with precision.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on constitutional law and government-related matters.
  • Work with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation experience, with a focus on trial and appellate matters.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and oral communication.
  • Comfortable working with government clients and law enforcement.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
