Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney for its Sugar Land, TX, location. The Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney will work closely with the firm's clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. They will handle a diverse caseload, requiring stellar research and writing skills. The candidate will draft correspondence, review demands, negotiate settlements, manage administrative assistants in tracking case progression, perform legal research, counsel clients, identify conflicts, and determine case strategies for successful resolution. Prior experience working for a plaintiff personal injury law firm and negotiating personal injury claims is required. Strong decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to understand medical records and treatment.

Duties:

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience.
• Prior experience working for a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
• Prior experience negotiating personal injury claims.
• Strong decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to understand medical records and treatment.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
