Associate Attorney needed for Pensacola office

Job Overview: A law firm in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide legal representation in Constitutional Defense, Commercial Liability, Auto, and Premise Liability cases. They will manage all aspects of case proceedings from intake to appeal, ensuring high-quality representation and adherence to budgets.

Job Duties:

• Handle case intake, including client meetings and initial assessments.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Manage case budgets and ensure cost-effective representation.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and support staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Florida.
• Certificate(s) of Good Standing from relevant governing bodies.
• Strong understanding of Constitutional Defense, Commercial Liability, Auto, and Premise Liability law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills.

Education:
