Duties:

  • Draft and analyze pleadings, motions, and legal documents relevant to litigation matters

  • Participate in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and code enforcement hearings across the state (remote and in-person)

  • Collaborate directly with financial institution clients to deliver high-quality legal representation

  • Maintain professional standards of confidentiality and discretion in client interactions

  • Ensure adherence to applicable foreclosure, bankruptcy, and debt recovery laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • 2 years of litigation experience preferred

  • Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure is advantageous

  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently

  • Proven ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment

  • Experience working with mortgage servicers or related financial entities is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the ABA

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Florida Bar (required)

Skills:

  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficient in legal research tools and intermediate office software

  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
