The ideal candidate will be a Florida-licensed attorney with over six years of experience in construction matters, providing legal advice and guidance to homeowners, contractors, HOAs, and Condominium Associations. This role involves active litigation, contract drafting, and negotiation throughout the State of Florida.

Duties

• Manage all phases of construction dispute resolution, from pre-litigation through trial.
• Guide clients through issues related to major renovation projects, including payments, timing, and quality of work.
• Communicate empathetically with clients needing practical guidance on significant issues.
• Negotiate with opposing parties or their attorneys to resolve construction disputes.
• Draft, revise, and advise on construction contracts for various stakeholders.

Requirements

• Licensed in Florida with 6+ years of construction litigation experience.
• Experience in construction transactions is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve disputes efficiently.
• Empathetic communicator capable of having tough conversations.
• Proficient with technology and AI tools.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
