Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate for its Civil Litigation Defense department in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have over one year of experience in civil litigation, specifically in General Liability, and will join a dynamic team of legal professionals across multiple states.

Duties

• Provide initial case analysis and develop strategic approaches.
• Conduct discovery and take depositions.
• Draft motions and attend hearings.
• Negotiate settlements and assist with trials.
• Lead and direct case files as experience grows.

Requirements

• 1+ years of civil litigation experience in General Liability.
• Current member of the Georgia Bar in good standing or pending admission.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Georgia.
