Job Overview

Duties

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and discrimination charges.
  • Represent employers in court, before agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration on employment matters.
  • Provide advice and counsel on labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for employment law background.
  • Active WA bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.
  • Understanding of court and employment-related agency procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, with the ability to work independently.

Education

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications
