A law firm in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a dedicated Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will engage in discovery, handle personal injury claims, and possess strong research and writing skills. The role involves attending court proceedings, communicating with clients, and preparing cases for trial.

 

Duties:

  • Engage in discovery and factual investigation to build strong cases.
  • Develop personal injury claims from intake to settlement.
  • Examine video, documentary, and physical evidence.
  • Draft petitions, motions, orders, and other legal documents.
  • Take and defend depositions and respond to discovery requests.
  • Prepare cases thoroughly for trial, ensuring all necessary preparations are in place.
  • Keep clients well-informed of the status of their cases through effective communication.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in AR, or actively working towards passing the Bar exam.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Legal research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
